An Egg

I have been getting eggs from my two small chickens, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum for about three weeks now, so I knew that the larger chickens would been coming along soon.

Yesterday I got my

large
green
egg!

On another note, the neighbor that gave us some apricots this weekend got weary of making jam and gave us the rest of the fruit. So I have my slave punk #2 working on cutting up apricots. We are going to be making the most wonderful jam. I will post more on that later.

  1. Now I’m jealous. I want lots and lots of apricots! And all of our chickens finally gave way to the, whatever it was, that wiped out my flock. So we’re back to getting our eggs from our old next door neighbor and the dairy farmer.
Have fun with your yummy jam.
    *hugs*

  2. I remember having GREEN eggs being layed by our chickens when I was younger. It was so cool. I had forgotten how fun I thought it was. And I am jealous too about all those apricots and your slave punk working so hard at cutting them up. I hope they taste as yummy as they look.

  3. I’m enjoying your posts on the Dinner’s. Everything looks so yummy! The apricot’s look great, have fun!
    Peace, Kris

  4. Hey girl! Love the apricots, I just finished “drying” a bushel myself! I love them! Froze 2 bags for pie, and will be doing my jam when my BFF’s tree is exploding! Glad you are staying busy! Your eggs are beautiful, I still can’t believe you are this fabulous! BTW, I was up driving in the area, and I swear I saw your hubby outside? I will be purusing the area in search of my home! I think I found it though! I’ll be in touch!

    Loves!
